He is a program builder who architects the plans for successful achievement by branding the cause, creating the inspirational motto, and then dishing up the fuel of motivation.

- Recipient of Erie County’s Aiding Children’s Excellence (ACE) Award in recognition of outstanding service for area children
- Co-founder and facilitator for Lead Like a Panther, a powerful leadership experience created for recognized leaders in grades 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 at Sandusky Central Catholic
- Founder of First-Step, a leadership program for 4th-grade students. Partnering with area service groups, individuals, and businesses, Tony and his wife Sandy gift two books he authored–Fables for Yong Leaders, the First Step, and Journal for Young Leaders–to students in over 20 schools in North Central Ohio
- Multi-awarded and recognized high school football coach
- National Football Foundation Hall of Fame
- OHSFCA Sportmanship, Ethics, Integrity Award
- Leader in multiple youth development programs
